To Place an Equipment Component

For this example, you will first place an equipment component using the Equipment Manager, then create an ID and associate that ID with the equipment.

  1. Open the Equipment Manager.
  2. Select the Motor template as the equipment type.
  3. Notice that ID has to be defined. Type in M15 and press Enter to confirm it.
  4. Place motor anywhere in the drawing.
